Banker commission

A $25 winning Banker wager at 5% commission produces $1.25 commission before rounding. Per-win rounding can change the effective rate at awkward bet sizes.

Tie payout

A high posted payout does not imply good value. Multiply each net outcome by its exact probability and include the high frequency of losing the Tie wager.

Commission-free variant

Removing commission changes a specific Banker outcome. Analyze the altered settlement rather than assuming the standard Banker edge.

Side bet

Dragon, pair and bonus wagers have separate pay tables and distributions. Never quote their result as the base game’s house edge.

Table selection

Record commission method, altered outcomes, minimum bet and optional schedules before comparing tables.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the exact rule set matter?
Because probabilities, legal actions and settlement can change together. A result belongs only to the model it analyzes.
Does better strategy guarantee profit?
No. Strategy selects the highest expected-value legal action; the best available action can still have negative expectation.
