Tier logic
Made high-return hands generally outrank draws; four to a royal is exceptionally valuable; low pairs often outrank unmade straight or flush draws. Exact exceptions depend on penalty cards and schedule.
Penalty cards
A discarded card can remove an out or alter the number of winning completions. Advanced charts distinguish apparently similar hands for this reason.
Practice method
Start with the exact pay table, practice without time pressure, and record only ambiguous hands. Do not mix charts between 9/6, 8/5 and bonus variants.
Why one chart is not universal
Strategy rankings come from the exact pay table. Changing the full-house or flush award can move close decisions, and penalty cards can change the value of apparently similar draws. A chart for 9/6 Jacks or Better should not silently be used for 8/5 or a bonus-family game.
How to read a priority chart
Classify the dealt hand, then take the highest listed category that actually applies. Check suitedness, gaps, high-card count and penalty cards before assuming a familiar-looking hand belongs to the same category.

- Confirm the wager level required for the advertised royal award.
- Match the strategy source to that schedule.
- Use a trainer to measure recurring errors rather than judging by session results.
