A simple framework
Choose Pass/Come or Don’t Pass/Don’t Come, decide in advance how much odds exposure fits the bankroll, and avoid adding bets because of table energy.
Place 6 or 8 can be used when direct number control matters, but it is not automatically superior to a contract bet with odds.
Common language
Inside means 5, 6, 8, and 9; across usually includes 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. Press increases a wager, regress reduces it, and same bet repeats the prior amount.
Off means a wager does not act for that roll. Working means it does. Proper odds describes bet sizes that pay without fractional rounding.
Systems and regression
Iron Cross, three-point Molly, power pressing, and regression systems package existing bets and stopping rules. Their expectation is the probability-weighted sum of their components.
A system may change volatility or time at the table, but it cannot remove an edge already embedded in the payouts.
Session control
Track total money risked rather than only chips bought in. Odds and pressed bets can make exposure grow faster than the original line wager suggests.
A stop-loss limits future action after a threshold; it does not alter the probability of rolls already taken.
